For the sandwich:
2 boneless skinless chicken thighs
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. smoked paprika
1 tsp. kosher salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper, optional 

1 large egg
1 cup buttermilk
Spiced mayonnaise, for serving (recipe below)
2 brioche buns
butter lettuce, for serving
sliced pickles, for serving
oil for frying

For the mayonnaise:
1/2 cup Hellman’s® Real Mayonnaise 
1 tbs. asian hot sauce 
1/2 tbs. lemon juice
1 garlic clove, minced
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
1. In a large cast-iron skillet or pot, heat oil over medium-high heat.

2. In the shallow dish combine flour and spices well, and set aside. In a separate dish, beat together milk and egg.

3. Dredge each piece of chicken into the egg mixture and then into the flour mixture and set aside.

4. Place chicken into hot oil and cook until golden brown and crispy, about 7-8 minutes. Turning chicken over halfway through.

5. Drain well and assemble the sandwich with spiced mayonnaise, lettuce, and pickles.

Spiced Mayonnaise:
1. In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, asian hot sauce, lemon, and garlic. Season with salt and pepper to taster and mix well. Refrigerate until ready to use.
